Filipe started at Mario’s when he was 12 years old, back in December 1980 on the weekends. Stocking shelves, pricing goods and learning what he could about the business. When he was 22 he started up “The Final Stop...” selling collector cards and then later on comics and other collectibles. He then left his job at Revenue Canada in 1995 to work full time, eventually taking over the store in 2001 when “Uncle Mario” passed away.
